I simply took the rear covers off to expose the carburetor and primer tube on which the bulb-primer stretches over. I removed the screw holding the choke lever on, and simply screwed the new identical replacement back on. Took of engine cover, then removed broken lever by removing screw. Installed new lever and tightened screw, reinstalled cover
