Snowthrower Maintenance
I was getting my snowthrower ready for the coming winter season, when I found a custom screw of the electric starter with stripped threads. I searched the manufacturer's web-site and found this component is no longer available. I called and visited a number of local retailers and distributors to be told this screw is no longer available. Running out of hope, I found "ereplacement parts" online. They had the screw listed and available. I placed my order and later received the exact screw to repair my snowthrower. I'm now ready for snow, but not in any rush to use it.

Removed the control handle for the chute. Split housing to get the new part installed. Attached cables and rod that unlocks the chute. Re-installed the control handle.

My existing impeller was worn down to just nubs.. Almost no power in the blow and vaccume.

1. I simply unscrewed the retaining nut.
2. Removed the worn impeller.
3. Installed the new impeller.
4. Put the retaining nut on and tightened it down.


I also ordered a scew for the center shaft that was reccommended but the parts diagram. But it was not needed.
