There was gas leaking from the bottom of the primer bulb. Upon inspection, the fuel was coming from the carburetor.

1. First removed all 6 nuts from the exhaust housing, then the 2 nuts underneath that secures the carburetor to the engine.
2. Removed the exhaust housing while also carefully slipping the primer bulb from the carburetor intake with it.
3. Removed the old gasket, and slipped on the new one in the same way it was originally sea ted.
4. Placed the exhaust housing back on, tightened the nuts in the order I removed them.
