This is a genuine Snapper and Simplicity part for use with Snow Blowers. The bail control arm is a safety device that you pull against the handle to start the auger. When the bail arm is released, the auger stops rotating. The most common reason for replacing the bail arm is if it is bent or broken, causing the augers to not engage. This part is sold individually. There are no tools needed to replace the bail control arm.
