Be sure to replace a worn shave plate to avoid wear to the blower main frame.

1. Tip blower by placing a log under frame behind shave plate (this avoids fuel leak caused by a full backward tip of the machine)
2. Remove 4 nuts and bolts on bottom frame
3. Remove 2 nuts and bolts on ends of shave plate and the sid e skid plates
4. Remove old shave plate
5. Install new shave plate in reverse order
6. Adjust side skids to keep shave plate slightly off driveway surface
