I replaced the spark plug. I had to buy a feeler gauge at a local auto parts store to ensure proper gapping. I stored the snowblower with gas and used a stabilizer. I had too much gas in the tank before storing so I used the stabilizer. I was able to top off the gas tank with new gas. After many tries the snowblower started up. I will ens ure to run out the gas before storing and changing out the spark plug if needed.

I\'m 72 and FINALLY replaced my first sparkplug! My neighbor demonstrated how to do it and I followed his instructions and it worked.

I removed the spark plug cover. Put the wrench over the plug and twisted to remove it. It was pretty bad looking. I measured the distance between the metal piece and the spark plate on the new spark plug, screwed it in place, tightened it with the wrench, and replaced the cover. It started.
