This part is an OEM from MTD for use with Snowblowers. The most common reason for replacing the throttle spring is when it is damaged during another repair. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the throttle linkage spring needle nose pliers, 3/8 inch socket, 1/2 inch socket, 3/4 inch socket, 10 mm socket, Phillips-head screwdriver and a 5/16 inch wrench.
