The friction rubber was worn out making my snowblower not go into reverse.

1. Tipped my snowblower up on to its front housing.
2. Remove the cover plate on the bottom of the transmission.
3. Watched some very good YouTube videos showing exactly how to complete this repair. Then follow the instructions in the video.
4. Test my snowblower and park it.

This was a fairly easy repair t o complete. I only needed a few tools, and about an hour of my time. I could have done it faster but I cleaned out everything while I had it open, and re-packed the planetary gears and lubed the axle shaft too.
Next time I\'ll be more familiar with the transmission and that will make it even easier.

This friction wheel rubber fit perfectly.

Broken axle

Removed the wheels, removed the drive gear from the broken axle. Reinstalled drive gear on new axle. Reinstalled wheels on new axle.
