The Ariens Deluxe 28 with about 5 hours of use would not move under power. Manuall it was ok.

I had to:
1. remove the plastic belt guard to access the belts to find why I could physically move the snowblower by pushing it WHILE the clutch lever was held down. I should not have been able to move it because of the engine compression. I found the traction belt was not turning.
2. I had to siphon out most of the gas so I could tip the s/b onto the auger opening to remove the bottom access panel because a portion of the spring fell to the bottom.
3. Next was easy once I had the spring--just follow the positioning of it from the diagram in the parts list.explosion.

But most importantly--Thanks ereplacementparts.com for the VERY quick shipping and reasonable shipping cost during the 2018/2019 Holiday season. I had the spring in 3 days!
