This is an authentic Ariens replacement part manufactured for use with snow throwers. The special scrapper attaches to the bottom of the back of the auger housing and used to collect snow from the ground to be fed into the auger. This scraper is a wear item because it wears against the ground during use. Replacing the scrapper is part of normal maintenance, please note the scrapper is sold individually.
