This is an authentic Ariens replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with snowthrowers. The metal scraper blade connects to the bottom rear of the auger housing and is used to collect ice and snow to gather in the housing to be propelled by the auger blades. This scraper blade is available as an individual replacement part, please note a wrench and socket set are needed to install this part.
