2. Removed new knob from plastic bag.
3. Looked at knob\'s underside to view flat side of hole.
3. Placed knob onto slow cooker metal stem: Lined up flat side of knob hole with slow cooker stem\'s flat side.
4. Turned knob to all settings to assure knob was a proper fit.
