This is the inner pot for a slow cooker, also sometimes referred to as the cooking bowl. As the name suggests it is where the ingredients are placed and where they cook. The inner pot fits perfectly inside the heating base and has metal handles on either side, making it easy to remove in and out. It is a 6-quart non-stick aluminum bowl with a large even surface, perfect for cooking. The inner pot is designed specifically for a slow cooker, so should never be used in the oven or on the stovetop. This part is dishwasher safe, however the manufacturer recommends hand washing it to protect the non-stick coating. This inner pot is sold individually and is sourced right from the original manufacturer.
