This is a single 6-quart black stoneware for a slow cooker, made by the original manufacturer. The stoneware is what holds the ingredients for cooking. It fits into the heating base while the unit is in operation and can be lifted out of place once it has cooled off. If this part chips or cracks it should be replaced immediately. The stoneware is dishwasher safe or can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a gentle cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula.
