This is a clear glass oval lid with rubber gaskets, a black handle in the middle, and locking hinges on either side. This lid fits perfectly on a 5-quart stoneware dish and the metal hinges are used to lock it to the heating base. This lid is safe to put in the dishwasher, just be mindful of sudden temperature changes, as this can damage the glass. Never operate your slow cooker if the glass is damaged because it can shatter easily if any cracks are present. This OEM replacement lid is sold individually.
