This is an authentic OEM component from Chicago Pneumatic. The protective retainer buffer is made for use with the CP7120 (8941071200) Needle Scaler, and is fastened to the driver retainer on the barrel. The retainer buffer is sold individually. A flat head screwdriver and a pair of pliers may be necessary for the installation.
