This is an OEM front handle for a chainsaw. It is black in color. The front handle is used to guide the chainsaw when cutting and works with the chain break to provide safety in the event of a kickback. Most of the problems with the front handle are due to an accident, such as the saw being dropped or something falling onto it. If the handle is cracked, broken, or missing fasteners, it will need to be replaced before operating.
