The lenghts one has to go to.
Bought a brand new Makita chainsaw in the UK, model no. DUC254Z and it came without a bumper spike! First chainsaw I've ever seen without one and 'to add insult to injury' a bumper spike is NOT available as an accessory in the UK even from Makita. Not to be beaten I searched on line in the US and found one at eReplacementParts. I placed an order and the part arrived in just over two weeks which is brilliant service. Took me two minutes to fit and now my new saw is 'fit for purpose' thanks to the team at eReplacementParts.
