All I did was take the old cap out and put the new one in.

Original fuel plug got brittle and hard, snapped in half when I went to put fuel in it, sat for 2 years and got around to finally looking for replacements. Couldn\'t find nothing for 2 years whenever

1. Opened box and went to garage.
2. sat saw on table and opened bags with the oil and fuel plugs
3. squeezed the little stops on end of plugs and slid into fuel and oil tanks
4. Put oil and gas in saw
5. Screwed plugs in till snug by hand
