This is available as a set that contains two brushes. The carbon brush attaches to the brush holder and is made of metal. It is an authentic OEM sourced item which is specially produced for use with Makita chainsaws, circular saws, and rotary hammers. A screwdriver might be necessary during the installation of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced.
