A good experience fixing my Makita chop saw
I've used eReplacement Parts many times and note the following: A, All the parts I've ordered seem to be OEM and always a perfect fit. B, Picking and ordering parts is HIGHLY EFFICIENT. Click on the number and get an immediate image of the part (similar to RockAuto). C, Cart review is clear, concise and allows for intuitive and simple manipulation of your order. D, Not fond of their shipping rates, but is what it is.
Interestingly, a friend has a different model Makita saw and was unable to get the parts he needed from another on-line parts supplier, "back ordered with an anticipated arrival two months out." He ended up buying another saw, which isn't (heh) so bad either, but I think he could have gotten the parts here because eReplacement Parts actually STOCKS the part, they're not a pass-through and take our buck operation. Generally just a good company to do business with.
OKAY, HERE'S MY COMPLAINT: Their parts graphic pages lose resolution when you zoom in--this is a big deal because (are you listening e?) because I use those graphics to put my saws back together when the parts come a week later. Would be ESPECIALLY nice on my cell phone. Nuff said.

Remove the brush caps with a small screwdriver, then removed the old brushes, then I installed the new brush set. I then was able to just push the new switch button in the housing. I then was able to finally use pointer again by screwing it in. Thank you.
