This is an original Makita replacement part manufactured for use with reciprocating saws. The rubberized insulation cover provides a grip over the gear case. This insulation cover is available as an individual replacement part.
Remove guide foot. Remove insulation cover(have fun I cut mine), remove top cover screws Phillips head with loctite. Remove cam.
