On-Off switch (broken) and Lock Off Switch Button (lost)

Purchased new On-Off switch, removed old switch w/ screwdriver and replaced w/ new switch. Then I found that the Lock Off Switch Button was missing so I purchased a new one. In the meantime (before button arrived) I fashioned a wooden dowel on my wood lathe, stuck it in the buttons\' hole after wrapping it w/ gaphers tape to take up any slack in the different diameters between the dowel and button hole. Then I dabbed a drop of CA glue on either side of the dowel after pushing it in to engage the Lock Off switch simi permanently, until the CA glue gave way or the new Button came in. The new button came in so I wiggled the dowel w/ a pair of pliers to brake the CA glue bond and installed the new button. Works fine and my Makita table saw of 20 years works now, as well as it did when new ! :)

Step 1: Using the scissors, unpack the part from the bag
Step 2: Insert the Lock Button into the hole until it clicks into place, done.
You have now completed the repair. Table saw is now ready for regular, safe use.
It took me longer to find a pair of scissors to open the bag than it did to install the part, super easy .
