The table insert on my Delta chop saw had become way too wide ... splintering on fine cuts.
Remove the old insert (4 phillips screws).
Shim the replacement insert to match the saw table height ... about 0.015\"
Replace the screws.
Cut a slot in the new insert with a fresh blade.
Perfect!
