This is a Genuine OEM sourced replacement part compatible with the Porter Cable Sanders. This Nut helps to secure the Sanding Pad to the unit. It is made out of Plastic and it is Sold Individually. To replace this item you do not need any tools.
Remove hose clamps by lightly prying with screwdriver
Replace hose and reuse clamps
Remove housing screws
Remove two screws that hold brushes
Remove one screw that holds brush and replace brush put screw back in then two that hold the brush housing
Repeat for other brush
Put screws back in housing
