?This 5" sander pad is a genuine OEM replacement part that is specially made for Porter Cable random orbit palm sanders. It is used to secure the hook and loop PSA style sandpaper, over time this part will wear out and it will need to be replaced. Changing the pad is an easy task that will only require a screwdriver.
