My sander was mounted to a table so to access the removable panel on the bottom of the unit, it first had to be unbolted from the table. Next step was to remove the bottom panel, 4 phillips screws. I opted to replace both capacitors since I could see that one was leaking and suspected that the other one was probably strained. One was secu red by a nut on the end of it, the other held by a band clamp, several minutes to swap them out, take note of where the wires are fastened, however, they are AC, so it shouldn\'t matter. I also purchased a relay, but didnGÇÖt need it and will save for future. I did a quick test with the bottom panel off and it ran great, so I installed the bottom panel, re bolted the sander to the table and I am back in business. One thing to note, the parts received were exact replacements, not cheap substitutes, buy with confidence.

Determined that relay designed to drop out starting capacitor, after belt sander motor was started, didnGÇÖt isolate the start capacitor from the run circuit. Replacing relay and capacitor solved the problem.
