I first removed the belt. Reached in with a small end wrench to hold the nut and used a phillips head screw driver to remove the two small machine bolts that hold the shoe on. Exchanged the old shoe with the new one. Reversed the process of removal with the exception of tightening the small machine bolts until after I aligned the new c ork and shoe. Once in align with the base of the belt sander I tightened down. Replaced the belt and checked for proper alignment smooth operation. Replacement completed.
