Drive pinion sheared off at base of threaded portion

1st remove the cover and belt.
Second Remove gear and pinion drive.
3rd use a deep well socket and 2 wooden Blocks To drive the Sprocket off of the shaft.
Reverse procedure for re installation.

Disassembled, removed drive gear with bearing. Installed new bearing onto drive gear by tapping onto a vise opened up to accommodate the shaft. Then just installed the drive gear and and reinstalled the rest of the sander.
