Dis-assembled Handle. Btw always make sure itGÇÖs not plugged in First! Removed worn out wiring. Test fitted wire into handle. Trimmed and crimped new appropriate size connectors. Re-installed cord to handle. Re-attached handle to main body. Since IGÇÖm working on it, I removed the head and brushes to regrease the head and replaced brushe s and inspect and clean stator... then a little 409 and a lil Polish, she looks brand new..... ready for another 45years!..

Locking cog broke, switch wore out.

Replacing the switch and handle was easy. Replacing the cog and the bearings can only be done with a bearing press. Tried a pulley puller and heat, no way. Fortunately my brother works at a garage and used an industrial bearing press. It\'s the only way, don\'t break the gear it is no longer available.
