This brush retaining cap is a genuine OEM item, not an aftermarket alternative. It is a high quality replacement part designed for Milwaukee grinders and sanders. The purpose of the brush cap is to secure the brush in the holder. This cap has external threads that thread into the housing. Be careful when removing and replacing these, they have a tendency to break. Please note, this plastic item is sold individually. You will need a flat-head screwdriver to install or remove this cap.
