Took out the felt plug, used a brace to stop the fan from turning while I loosened the hex socket head bolt. Removed the pad, removed the bearing retainer and the bearing. Placed the bearing in the new pad, replaced the bearing retainer, positioned the new pad on the fan, replaced the head bolt, tested and done.
