Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Both the fan and pulley were worn to the point where the belt would spin, but the sanding belt would remain idle. The housing itself had a hole burned thru the rear side near the handle.
Removed the housing cover. Also removed the motor to access the fan and pulley. Had to disconnect the electrical leads from the switch to gain access to the motor. Returned all of the parts and associated hardware. Tested the sander and everything is as good as new.
Remove both end caps Hold motor fan. Remove the nut holding the bad fan. Screw on new fan with the nut. Cleaned all caked on dirt in side cover. Reinstall side covers install belt and cover and good to go. Note it costs about 15 dollars to repair a 200 plus sander
