Easy repair with one issue
I have a late 1980's Performax 22-44. This motor fits well, but I had to remove a plastic wire protection piece on the switch box because the piece would not allow the motor to be positioned perfectly. This caused the motor to rotate on its mount a bit. The problem was corrected about 75%. The motor still rotates a bit, but it's being asked to make a perfectly straight link to the 40 year old drive shaft. So I'm satisfied and glad this replacement is available.
