Drive belt missing teeth

Loosen allen screw from sanding disc, work disc off by rocking side by side. Remove the belt guard. Then remove the old belt, then install the new belt on the pulleys. Assemble in reverse order.

2. Removed sanding disc plate by loosening set screw and carefully prying off.
3. Removed screws and belt guard.
4. R&R belt.

The drive belt was off and twisted so when I tried to untwist and put on I broke it so I ordered new belt.

Removed casing and wheel to get at drive shaft to see where belt went back on. Received belt put all back together the opposite way taken off.

rubber belt wore out n broke

The replacement part was great, looks better than the one that broke. The Delta instruction manual was terrible as well as trying to get the proper size hex that was long enough to fit through the access holes. My hex set was 4 inches long and really could have used a straight hex of 6 inches long with no elbow. Its done now so hoping the rubber belt will last a long time.

Remove disc sander plate, remove plastic cover guard, loosen bolt under belt sander body, replace belt, tighten bolt under belt sander, reattach plastic guard, put new set screw in sander plate, put disc plate back on, tighten screw, plug in and test.

1. Used an Allen wrench to loosen the sander face.
2. Used an Allen wrench to loosen the belt base.
3. Used an Allen wrench to loosen the adjustment bolt to the loosen the motor to reset the belt.
4. Tightened the motor bolt and tightened the belt.
5. Returned the belt base to normal and tightened.
6. Cleaned the sanding disc surface and installed the new sanding disk.
