While moving my Delta B.O.S.S. spindle sander it got off balance and it fell on the shop floor, bending the spindle shaft.

The replacement was very simple. After removing the protective rubber cap, I held the motor shaft in place with an Allen wrench...accessed from the bottom of the unit (under the rubber cap) while screwing the spindle into place....first by hand, then gently tightening it from the top with an adjustable wrench.
