W/O this adapter ring the dust collector will blow off the sander. Apparently this is one hard ring to find because I hunted all over the internet for it & eReplacement Parts was the only place I could find it so if you need one or want one you better order 2 as I did & have an extra one.. Good job eReplacement Parts.
