This is an original Makita replacement part. The hex bolt is used in belt sander to attach the lever to the pulley cover. Please be aware that there are a variety of different bolts and screws. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct item. This part is made of metal, and it is sold individually. No tools are required to replace this part. Simply unscrew the old part and put the new one into place.
