This is an authentic Ridgid replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with routers. The clear plastic sub-base connects to the bottom of the router base. This part provides a flat surface to allow the router to move across the material being cut and is clear to allow the cutting bit to be seen. A philips head screwdriver is needed to install this part. The sub-base is sold individually.
