Replace the power cord and outlet on the D-handle on Porter Cable Router

Remove handle half from D-handle. Make a wiring diagram of where all the wires are located, or take a cell phone picture. Remove cord clamp. Then remove the wires from the switch and the outlet the outlet wires, Don\'t to forget to put the rubber reliever in place first before you wire everything up, otherwise....oops, have to take it all apart and start over again. But 2nd time was the charm....runs like a champ.

Removed screws from router handle as required removed old cord and installed new cord.

Most replacement cords at big box stores are stiff not flexible, plastic covering, this cord was very flexible, factory replacement. If you have general knowledge of power tools then you should have no problem replacing.
