This is an original Rorter Cable replacement part manufactured for use with routers. The switch has two positions and is used to send power from the cord to the motor. Power tool switches do eventually wear out, and a good indication that the switch is worn is that the tool begins to run intermittingly. This switch is sold as an individual replacement part.
