Replace missing base from BoXZY CNC Milling Head to make it a usable router

Got this to replace the missing fixed base from the BoXZY CNC Milling Head (a Makita RT0701C) and turn it into a usable router.

Attach base protector with four M4x10 countersunk screws. Attach spur gear on the thumbscrew and cam lock piece they sent with the BoXZY. Attach the cam lock to base along with the cam plate they a lso sent with the BoXZY. Slide on to router and lock into place...

Save the Grip 36 for use with the plunge base.

I very easily unscrewed the old base plate and installed the new one within minutes. Fits perfectly!

the base protector was cracked

1. Got a phillips screwdriver.
2. Loosened the screws the hold the base protector on.
3. Removed the screws and base protector.
4. Placed the new base protector on the router so the screw holes line up.
5. Place the screws in the screw holes.
6. With the phillips screwdriver tighten the screws to secure the base protector on the router.
7. Throw away the broken base protector.
8. Put away the phillips screwdriver.
9. Your done.
