Removed two screws on end cap, then end cap. Removed two screws securing speed control/pc board, took picture of wiring, disconnected three wires, removed speed knob from pc board and installed on replacement board.
Installed the new pc board and reversed steps to complete repair. Speed control now functional.
Unscrewed top of router. Unscrewed PC board. Detached and reattached 3 wires to new board. Reassembled
