Easy Repair....Part worked as expected
When I opened the box on a Saturday morning, I noticed that the new armature assembly was damaged. I immediately called customer service. I am going to be honest; I was a little bit rude to the customer service rep because it was evident that the part was damaged prior to being shipped as the parts broken off the assembly were not in the box. The rep was very professional, and I quickly apologized for being snippy. Anyways…. people make mistakes. Its how there delt with that sets companies apart from others. Armature was shorting out and sparking and router had a loss of power
Disassembled the router and installed the new armature and reassembled it. I have worked on engines and electronics all my life so I had prior eperience.

I burnt out the Armature pushing my router too hard
Initially replaced the magnetic bushings but the excessive sparking did not go away so ordered the replacement armature. The new armature did the trick. The how-to video on armature replacement was helpful.
