This brush holder is an OEM direct from DeWalt. The metal and plastic holder is made for use with several router devices, and is sold individually. This component is an identical replacement, and is designed to secure the carbon brush to ensure conductivity with an armature. A screwdriver and pliers are often needed for the removal and installation.
