Ice maker assembly AEQ72910411 contains the complete ice maker and housing. The assembly may include multiple parts; refer to your parts diagram for a complete list of parts included. Make sure the ice-detecting sensor on the ice maker is clean and ice bin compartment door is closed for proper operation; allow 12 to 24 hours for ice production to begin after replacing the ice maker. Note: Due to LG using different ice makers depending on the build date of certain model refrigerators, you must look at the silver tag on the back of your ice maker and read the part number starting with AEQXXXXXXXX off of that tag to ensure you are ordering the correct ice maker.
