Not identical replacement part.
eReplacement web said my original Whirlpool part was "discontinued" and this was an "identical" replacement. NOT - the connector blades are in a different configuration. Two choices; cut the OE connector plug off and wire your own female blade connectors, or find the plug to the new switch and wire it in. At least the return was easy and efficient.
