This chiller shelf is a manufacturer-approved replacement part for the freezer section of your refrigerator. The chiller shelf triggers the ice shut-off to stop making ice when the bucket is full. If your chiller shelf is missing or damaged, your ice machine may continue making ice when it is full. This is a very easy repair. To change out this shelf, slide out the old chiller shelf and put the new one in its place.
