This is a genuine OEM part from the Porter Cable manufacturer. The variable speed switch is compatible with several reciprocating saw tools, and is composed of metal and wiring encased in plastic. This item is fitted inside the clamshell set, with the wiring fastened to the motor. The variable speed switch allows the operator to select the preferred speed for various project requirements. This part is sold individually. A screwdriver and needle-nose pliers are often needed for making the repair.
