Fixed whirlpool burner control very easy
Our large front 8 inch burner would only turn on high, nothing lower than red hot. Ordered the burner control off the diagram on the website. It looked similar but had a slightly different number than the original. I called ereplacement and they confirmed it was a superceded number. It arrived quickly. Replacement was remove a couple of screws and the knob. Take the wires in order off the old control and into the same location on the new control. Screw everything back in place. Plug it in and voila, works perfect.

COOK TOP HOT and COOK TOP ON message are always on whether the stove is on or not. Everything else works like it should. Is this the part I need?

Took back panel off, unscrewed 2 screws holding switch. Transferred wire terminals to new switch and reinstalled. Easy !
